Château GAYON is made from premium Bordeaux grape varieties:

  • MERLOT, CABERNET FRANC, and CABERNET SAUVIGNON (red wines)
  • SAUVIGNON BLANC and SEMILLON (white wines)

There are 2 cuvées of red wines:

  • CUVEE GAYON: aged for 6 months in barrel, and slightly oaky
  • CUVEE PRESTIGE: fermented in new barrels and aged for 10-14 months.

We also produce dry white, semi-sweet white, and rosé wines. These appellations – BORDEAUX BLANC SEC, COTES DE BORDEAUX SAINT MACAIRE, and ROSE – only account for a small part of production (about 5,000 bottles per year and category).
